It appears there are two definitions,  Q by Rich's definition and Q 
by IEEE definition, which can be measured either loaded or 
unloaded.

Since Q=Quality that seems to fit. Rich's quality diodes come from 
Digi-Key instead of the other wholesale vendors who also source 
parts randomly. Pay more for diodes from unknown sources = 
better quality parts for clients

It is all a matter of definition, isn't it?
