My (one cent) comment to Eimac's
service.

I have two times requested data from
them on tubes
and both times I got detailed data
sheets, and even
emails from one of their apps guys,
asking me if I
had any further questions.
And, I may add, both times I told them I
was a ham nut,
so they knew that it wasn't Mr. Voice of
America requesting
info.

I have once asked Svetlana for
information, and it arrived
with post (from the US), fasten seat
belts, 4 MONTHS after
my request ! (and it wasn't held in the
post system )

So, I'm very satisfied with Eimac's
response.

I have a lot of trouble getting
information out of this company outside
of
the USA. It seems strange that a
manufacturing company is not interested
in
passing out willingly, information on
the products it makes. Why should i as
an individual go begging to Richardsons
to get this information, when Eimac
could provide the information i require.
In most cases Richardsons are only
interested in helping you if you a prime
or potential juicy customer. It
seems Eimac must either be highly
arrogant or doing so well that giving
out
a piece of paper mechanically or
electronically to a individual is not
important. There web site is a
reflection of this. Many companies have
distribution agreements, but i cant see
how the release of basic
information harms these agreements.
There business marketing practices to
me seem strange. Svetlana on the other
hand seem to have a more sensible
attitude, look at there web page.

Anyway who knows?

Bill
