Hi, fellows:

Has anyone had any experience with converting an 11m tube amp to 6 meters?
I recently picked one up very cheap. Seems to be pretty broadbanded,
running about 100w out w/ 4W in (predictably) into a dummy load, with a
6LQ6. No schematic, of course.

It's called a "Firebird" and looks really bootleg...horrible-- but no
scratches or rust. I'm thinking if I can convert it to operate around a
center frequency of perhaps 52.000 MHz, I believe I could really find some
use for it on 6 meters w/ my transverter.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you -

Mitch KJ4DX
