[AMPS] AL-80B Amps

I think that what he is saying is that he is shocked to see that on stand-by
only the keying relay is disabled and the HT is NOT switched off. I would
think that in stand-by a good amp should be just loafing with the HT removed
(or at least reduced), etc.

So you ignore the warning labels, and then when the cover is
removed, the interlock defeated, the amp plugged in, and the power
switch turned on you are surprised the HV comes up???

And you some think that adding the standby switch to that chain of
events would improve safety?

Is that what you are saying, or did I miss something?
