Hi,

a little bit off-topic but a least I have a kW amp after the transverter ...

Question: My IC 746 puts out about 3 Watts on 2m - my 23cm transverter only
needs abt. 100mW. What happens if I use a 15dB attenuator in the 2m IF? This
will of course put down the output in the desired range but how abt. the RX
system ???
Thanks for your answers in advance!

Carsten, DL6LAU

23cm: 4.5m dish - W2IMU feed - YL1050 abt. 800 Watts - 0.3dB LNA
13cm: 4.5m dish - W2IMU feed - 2x YD 1304 abt. 200 Watts
