Yeah, but a whole entire amplifier is needed to drive that 3CX tube, whereas
you could get buy with screen voltage applied to the tetrode, and get near
full power output with just 150 to 200 watts of drive.
There is a lot more to go wrong in your "driver" amplifier than their is in
a screen power supply
