[Amps] GU-84B Tube Anode Voltage??

I see many people use an Anode Voltage of up to 4000
volts on these tubes even though it is only rated for
a max of 2200 volts anode voltage.  Are they just
pushing the envelope or is the tube rated for the
higher voltage?
