Yes, it depends on line frequency.
If you're designing a three phase amp and need to ask about filter caps,
you're in way too much trouble. (besides I'm not sure they're even needed,
but that's a different discussion)
What should a builder do if the capacitance computer call for 35.01 uFd and
the only parts available have -20%, +80% tolerance?
Seriously, how about discussing whether 3% regulation is the right number,
and how the regulation requirement varies between triodes and tetrodes.
That would help someone...including me
