It's not just the power supply, Rick. The tank components are far too small
for much over 1500 watts intermittant service. About the only things really
usable for a conversion are the existing tube and socket, and the
case/chassis.
The power supply is rated by Ameritron at 2500 watts, so you would need a
transformer capable of  2800 volts or so, @ 2 amps. You will need the room
in the
box that the old transformer occupied for vacuum variables, big coils, and a
larger
band switch.
