Just wondering something.  Most recent transceivers contain a built-in
autotuner.  For a homebrewed amplifier, would this be sufficient to
replace the input network in a cathode driven amp?  I know a Q of only 2
or so is needed for good linearity and surely the autotuner could
furnish this... or could it?

Would save a lot of trouble building a homebrew amp if this worked.
