Thanks for the info. Say, WHAT DID you do to kill noise from the ignition into the radio? Mine is a solid S-9 with the engine running...kind of makes it difficult to communicate!

Graphite ignition wire reduces ignition RFI.


I've tried improving grounds (the antenna is very well grounded) and I have a separate auto battery in the trunk with the radio (remoted to the car). I've totally disconnected the battery from the car's DC electrical system and the noise still persists...so it is not coming in via the DC lines. And it is definitely ignition noise.
