Hi, just to confirm that like another contributor the base in my wee CCS1
amplifier is an "air system" one, I used a small brushless fan to cool the
valve base area and to get a wee bit of airflow through the PA compartment,
the fan is a 12v one run at reduced voltage, also helps to keep the
stripline reasonably cool, it seems to warm up pretty well with circulating
current!
The fan I have for next project is altogether different, just fired it up
and launched papers everywhere....
