Better VOMs, VTVMs and equivalent I believe are typically quite accurate
when reading DC voltages near full scale. We hams can average the
results several of our meters. The key here is that we are HAMS, not
laboratories! My intent was to make known here a simple, low cost
inherently accurate power meter. One in which accuracy is dependent only
upon an ordinary shack's test gear--not a slug which may require still
another standard to verify. Amateur radio has traditionally accepted 5%
as "good accuracy' for such things as transmitter power measurements.
