If I remember correctly, the Anglian used two TV type turret tuners for band 
selection, ganged together mechanically, with a ganged switch for the PA.  It 
was about the time that turret tuners were going out of TV  sets in favour of 
the 'Fireball' tuner originally developed by Admiral in the US, it being 
mechanically easier and so cheaper than a turret tuner.
