Likewise some hams claim the Pro III is so much quieter than the Pro II.<
It's fair to say that for the majority of us, the limit is external noise. 
Although under conditions with lots of strong signals, phase noise may produce 
an effective decrease in sensitivity.
Unless you have a PIN with a very long recovery time, it's little more use at 
HF than teats on a bull.
