> Yaesu did a PIN diode mod on FT-1000D starting with lot 28.. Based on measured data, Yaesu began using PIN diodes in the receiver of the MP series. I imagine that if IP2 numbers aren't measurably improved when converting the FT-1000D, it is likely a diode biasing issue.
