I have an MFJ-984, 3 KW antenna tuner I would like to trade. This tuner
looks good, and comes with a copy of the manual. The previous owner
told me the front panel meters work erratically. When I have used it,
they didn't seem to work at all, however I have always used low power.
The meters may be an easy fix, but I don't use them anyway so I never
pursued it. Operationally, the tuner works great. There are more
details on this tuner available on the MFJ web site, or I can send more
if you are interested. I can also send pics, inside and out, if you
desire. I have a broad band connection, so can send as many pics as you
like.
What I would like to have is a small, auto tuner for portable use. Must
be rated for at least 100 watts, and in perfect working condition. I'm
not overly concerned with the cosmetics, as long as I can depend on it
in the field...
Looking over the current models, I like the LDG AT-100, Z-11Pro, or
maybe the AT-897. I would prefer one of these, basically in that order,
but would consider others. What do you have to offer?
