Svetlana is still made in Russia or one of its ex republics AFIK. 
Amperex/Thompson production Im not sure about. All other glass tubes are 
Chinese no matter the brand name, no more USA. Taylor has a big logo with 
San Marcos CA under it. Then on the side is the date code with PRC right 
under it looking like part of the code.  A real con job from RF Parts.

Expect to see Chinese TX tubes become quite scarce. Its more profitable to 
build for the audiophools.

Better start thinking about building 810 or 211 amps!


My doc is at the bottom of the druggie reps popularity list, he hates 
writing scrips. Just as I hate getting them so we have had an excellent 
relationship for many years. Exercise, weights and diet have kept me 
attractive to all those hotties I see. Well....healthy anyway!!
