One other thing Phil, you did not mention what mode you operate with
your amp; it might be easiest to simply get your amp out in the open
instead of tearing into it. If you are only using it for SSB and CW
I'd get it out from under the shelf and put an extra fan along side
the RF deck, moving air out away from the amp if necessary. My
earlier comments assumed you were using it for SSTV, RTTY..something
more demanding.
