Where is this coil in the circuit?  In the input or the output?  How 
is it "cooked?" Has the wire open circuited?  Has the core cracked?  

Fair-Rite is the mfr of most ferrite materials sold in NA. Their #61 
material and #67 material are the ones that have low loss at HF, so 
they are the ones you would want to use if the coil is seeing much 
power.
