In the used category dont overlook the Amp Supply LK-800 series. It uses 3x 3CX or 3CPX 800's and depending on the model will do 2500 to almost 5KW. Simple, rugged, protectective circuitry, fast sped up vacuum relay switching, Dahl transformers. For RTTY, contesting, digital at 1500W they loaf all day. The hardest part is finding one; they sell as fast as they surface.
