Ditto for the T4XC when I was contesting and I do similar with a TS-940
these days, that heatsink gets real hot otherwise.
Contesters also added an external muffin fan to cool the PS in the SB-220
and the Alpha 76 even had a series of holes already in place on the back
panel.
