Hello Mike,
Need to know more info. I have a few questions about your problem. When you
had this problem:
Did the Plate voltage change? UP or Down? This can tell us about a load
change.
What happen to Plate current? Same as above.
Grid Current?
If the above were good and unchanged, your watt meter readings maybe giving
you a "head fake".
Did you hear any noise when the changes happen?
Did your antenna load or SWR change during problems?
Did you check your TR (transmit - receive) relay?
What was your mode of operation?
Do you have a watt meter between your excitor and amp and did you happen to
look at it?
After hearing your answers to the above questions, I will be happy to add a
few things then.
