Mine has a 2" hose on it and is so darn loud I have to wear hearing 
protection when running it.  My dust collector has a 5" hose. Those come 
in either a 10 or 12' length. I've forgotten which.    The one we have 
in the garage is physically the same size but is no where near as loud.  
That hose is about the same size as they used in the KWS-1 IIRC.  They 
tend to dampen the sound compared to the metal stacks.
