I know the military HV connector with interlock pins
is the best.
I am using HN and RG-8/U for my HV cable connecting
HVPS and RF deck in a standard rack.
Ground of the HN cable/connector connects the both chassis
and they are same metal rack.
Anther ground lines are in control connector/cable
so the case of HV ON with lack of ground connection
can never happen.
But once in long years I forgot to connect the HV connector
on the RF-deck side - just heard tick tick tick small arc in
the HN-male connector.
The amp is running fine for every day.
