Heath used three 4M7/5%/1W Carbon Composition resistors in the
series leg of the HV meter multiplier (R6, R7, R8).

Those, or the 14 1M0/5%/0.25W Metal Film resistors W8CQ used
can be replaced with three 4M7/5%/1W/10KV resistors:

Vishay/BC-Componentns PN: VR68000004704JAC00
Digi-Key stock #: VR68J4.7MCT-ND
Each: $1.26 (4,573 can ship immediately)

Heath used a 5K6 resistor (R9) from the bottom end of the 3x 4M7
string to chassis. Its value is uncritical, as its function is only to prevent 
the
bottom end of the 3x 4M7 string from soaring to HV when the meter switch
is NOT in the "HV" position.
