May  I ask if the crackle finish was something the d=front panels came
with,  or  did  you achieve that finish yourself? A friend has had good
success  withe  electrostatic  coatings  and an oven bake using speial
crackle  powder,  but  I  am  doubting  if  54  years  ago you used an
electrostatic gun off Ebay ;)
