Heathkit SB-1000 (similar to an Ameritron AL-80A)
Single 3-500Z (date code 8637)
160m-10m (front panel does not show 10m, but band switch goes there)
Currently wired for 220.
Condition 8/10
Purchased a while back from K2VCO with his mods:
1. AL-80A plate choke (for 17m operation)
2. Vacuum T/R relay
3. Step start
4. Glitch resistor
Includes original manual and notes.
Shortly after purchasing the amp, I picked up Elecraft's KPA-500 and
KAT-500, so the SB-1000 was never put into service.
Asking $675 OBO for local pickup in Southern California (willing to meet
halfway).
