If you stick to the OP needs for a SB-220 family amp and reuse or duplicate the coil my statement stands.

YOU DO NOT NEED 5W

If you want to drift over to a much bigger amp then do so on another thread.

Maybe, maybe not.  There are four factors involved:

1.  Operating power level.

2.  Inductor value.

3,  Resistor value.

4.  Operating frequency.

As any of those four increase, the wattage requirement increases.

To simply say "You dont (sic) need 5W"  may lead to a smoke filled
room.
