Jim,

Thanks for your link to check out. I 
thought I'd followed the instructions for 
proper bonding but as I have damage, I 
need to review it.

Lost the USB on the K3s, had a spare 
module to insert and now all is well with 
it. Needed a new powered USB hub as well.

Is there any device made to protect USB 
lines?
