Tree Please!! Thats like the lion giving the lamb a last meal B-4 eating
him.

Issue HW-8's,
And all use G5RV's, now we're leveling the playing field!

Antennas and ABLITY are what crush us low power guys, not the KW. I think
your test will prove that if they all DO run 100wts!

has anyone stacked a 2 element cushcraft 40 meter beam and a 15 meter
beam on the same mast? if so, how far apart were the beams and how did
they perform? "conventional wisdom" says not to put the 15's and 40's
on the same mast but, if it works...
thanks greg kc4zv@iquest.com

KE3Q's comments regarding contesters not being active except during contests
ie. not ragchewing and taking up space, brings to mind that if there were more
contesters doing exactly that and talking about how much fun contesting is and
how much enjoyment you get from contesting, that maybe some of the enthusiasm
might just rub off on some of the non-contest types....

Hey Rob (et al)....

Ain't it the truth?!!!!! Yep, there went my excuse too! Guess I'll have
to own up to the fact that I can't Sprint!

If the Sprint goes all LP, then I'll have no reason to get an amplifier
(Oh boy!). Actually I have a single 3-500 amp that I was going to try
to get online before Sprint, but now I may not....I'd _really_ hate to get
beat by all those guys with them running LP and me running HP! Talk about
needing excuses!

CU in Sprint!

Steve,

I wonder how many councilpersons have
run/walked/teetered/flown/fallen/dived/ or otherwise collided with antenna
structures. My gess is that there are more instances of
councilperson-structure than bird-structure collisions. That alone should
tell ya something.

E.g., here in Phoenix, councilman Solomon Leija (not sure of spelling) had
an acccident involving his car with another driver. Mr. Leija (a
democrat***) caused ~ $840 damage to the other car but did NOT have
insurance as required by Az. law (attitude problem?- read on). In
addition, he stated that he couldn't afford to pay as he was living pay
check to pay check. He also seemed to think that requiring insurance was
WRONG?

This offers so many potential comments that I don't even want to think about
it, but it does give u an indication of the quality of elected official we
have in AZ. GOD HELP US.

***- Yes, this adds nothing to the story and is quite possibly inflamatory
and even unnecessary but it is a fact none the less. His attitude towards
other facits of social interaction is jaded (in my opinion) also. In fact,
his name has been mentioned in conjunction with vote fraud.

Several suggested that I leaped before I looked in regards to this manual
and the Omni-6. I have compared the manual I have, with the one Del, KL7HF,
has and sure enough.... I don't have the right manual. Or at least it's not
complete.

I'll get one on order Tuesday. Del has given me alot of the commands for me
to use. The sidetone tone and level are controlled from the front of the
radio. Love being able to change the tone of it.

Please... No more "your an idiot mail". I have my wife for that!
