I asked the same question at the ETO booth at Dayton '95 and was told this
could be done by connecting pins 13 and 14 of the RS-232 connector to ground.
Connect pins 1(gnd), 13 and 14 on a male DB-25 together and plug it
into the connector on the rear of the amplifier.

Be sure that the connector is properly wired and pluged-in before you
have your "6th Hard Fault" - I'm not sure this will restore a
locked-out amplifier! It does however work here. Have a "22" which
is a hard fault according to the list and it does not lock out.
Now if someone can tell me how to find/fix a # 22 fault I will be very
happy!
