i have captured the weekend's graphs of x-ray flux and the satellite
environment plus the small sun picture(monday's i'm afraid, didn't
think to get it over the weekend itself). these graphs are nice in
that they show 3 days worth of activity.
this weekend was interesting in that saturday was very quiet, but on
sunday the x-ray flux rose rapidly and showed several spikes over the
'c' level flare threshold, including one right at the end of the
contest that may be a as big as a c7 or c8. also the Kp index
reported here is higher than what was reported on wwv.
