I'm against about contesting in the warc bands.
During the big contest (ARRL, WPX, CQWW) the unique way to remain in the
quite band and make some DX are the warc bands.
The 30 meters are only CW and usually this band is quite for CW DX ...
The 17 meter are similar to 15 meter and this is very short band, also 12
meters.
During the contest the ham radio operators quantity is very hight and the
bandwith is not enought for this use...
