This is a post, that IMHO, may play well among the superstation crowd but
would get little support from those of us with more modest stations.

Randy's station probably does not qualify for superstation status, but he
certainly has an impressive array of aluminum even so.

The thing about A vs. B is that A lets people break into the Top 10 even
with a TA33 at 42 feet and a G5RV at 35 (me, last year, @ ve4yu). I wouldn't
have had a hope in B, or in a new A without B. A-class is still very
competitive, but squeezing all the Big Guns into A, I think, would act as a
disincentive to some ops.

I think the A vs. B distinction is important for reasons that go beyond any
need for power.

I like WB0O's Top 20 suggestion more than I like the idea of eliminating B,
but I think that Top 20 would then become mandatory if you wiped out B.
