OK....before I get flamed, my statement about no CW contests that weekend is
not completely correct. Checking Ken Newman's excellent listing of QRP
contests shows an overlap of several hours in the QRP category of the
Louisiana QSO Party and the Tennessee QSO Party. My apologies go to those
who are going to be active in those events. Fists C2C is an event in which
you can participate when the rates get low in those fine QSO parties. I also
encourage Fists members not involved in club duties to look for the CW ops
in the those QSO parties. By participating in state QSO parties, we ensure
that the sponsors will continue to be encouraged to put them on.
