Greetings!
A bit of a strange request.
I worked a Clean Sweep during 2002 SSB and CW SS. Put order in for mugs.
ARRL screwed up (N1ND confirmed their mistake) by sending a PIN not a mug.
By the time mistake was discovered, ARRL was out of 2002 Clean Sweep mugs
and was not going to order any more.
I am not a wallpaper chaser nor one who collects awards to adorn the walls,
but I've a weakness for mugs. They sit nicely on the shelf, are great
conversation pieces (and conversation starters about ham radio and
contesting!) and honestly.. I kinda LIKE the fact that I've an fairly long
unbroken (literally and by years HI) string of them. Assuming I clean sweep
in 2004 (which I intend to do HI!) there will be a gap on the shelf.
My request is this.
If ANYONE has an extra 2002 SS Clean Sweep mug for both SSB/CW or has one
they'd like to dispose of.. please contact me at k3ft@erols.com.
It may be a LONG shot.. but who knows? Nothing ventured.. nothing gained.
