If you ever decide to try RTTY contesting, the IC-746PRO is a superb
rig for that mode.  It has built-in RTTY filters that are completely
separate from the other mode filters, and they do a form of FM-type
limiting as well.  While I haven't operated an IC-756PRO myself, I
suspect as the "big brother" of the '746PRO, it has the same
capabilities.

Just something to keep in mind for the future.
