10m from this side of the Pacific is patchy even with the big antenna this
end, but for the 10-10 contest and I recall 24/25 Jan, the band was wide
open from VK/ZL/A3 to western and central US districts. Check the relevant
beacons ie VK2RSY 28.260.2 ZL3TEN/ZL2MHF 28.228.1 .. plus the VR2 and VK4
beacons (can't remember their freq's).. AND point your antenna to Oceania
from 1900z to 2200z.
