I spent years with DOS based programs including CT and NA. Both are very
good programs. CT seems to be a standard for many (but not all) multi-op
stations with networking systems, and is reliable and excellent there. CT
also benefits from being so well entrenched in the East Coast contesting
community for many years. NA has some great features and loyal users as
well, and is well supported However for the DOS-based programs, especially
for the CW SO2R crowd, TR is the clear favorite. TR simply does things the
others cannot do. Those who say otherwise simply do not understand what TR
can enable the operator to do.
