The preliminary results of the 2005 contest have been posted at
http://iotacontest.com/2005/iotaScores.php Please take a look and, if there
are any problems with your listing, please let the organisers know as soon as
possible (the final results go to RSGB in early January for publication in
March RadCom and will also be posted on the RSGB HFCC web site www.rsgbhfcc.org
at that time). You can e-mail iotacontest@rsgbhfcc.org with any questions, or a
request for your adjudication report (similar to CQWW UBN).
An apology that the results have taken somewhat longer this year. Hopefully,
normal service will be resumed in 2006. My thanks, as always, to those who
helped behind the scenes, especially Marios 5B4WN/G0WWW who has worked
tirelessly on the adjudication software. It is worth noting that 2005 drew a
record number of entries, over 200 more than the previous highest. Next year's
contest will, as always, take place over the last full weekend of July (29/30).
Only minor changes to the rules are expected, mainly for clarification. They
will be posted on the RSGB HFCC web site in due course.
