Incidentally, if you log a qso at 2100, and you want to take a 30 
minute break, you cannot log another qso until 2131. Each clock minute 
is either an "on" minute or an "off" minute, no halfsies. In this 
example, 2100 and 2131 are "on" minutes, and 2101 through 2130 are 
"off" minutes.

At least that's the way it was explained here by N6TR, who is in a 
position to know about such things.

You are not supposed to listen or transmit during the off minutes.
