page.
It is so cool that YT6A and YT6T, operating as WRTC competitors signing PT5L,
used a Drake R4C receiver along with an FT1000.
There is a story here. PT5L placed 11th.
These two guys flew to Brazil with an R4C?
Harker guessed the R4C as 1979 vintage, but it was earlier, by at least five
years.
Personally, in those days (mid-70s) I preferred the 75S3B, even though I grew
up just 40 miles from the Drake factory (in Ohio).
