I sent my entire exchanges with a keyer and never used leading zeros. No
one seemed to have a problem with it. I did hear one station using cut
numbers in his serial number and that confused me. How would you know if
the precedence "A" is actually the precedence or a cut "1" in that case,
if the spacing were the same between all?
