Sure
I identify often, usually every other QSO, and often when I am running a
pile-up someone
just tunes in and keeps sending "?" while I try to copy the calling signals
under it.
Good operators usually see that there is a pile-up calling calling, and wait at
least
one exchange, and not try to impose themselves with machine-gun "?".
Happily the "upset" behaviour is not the norm.
