This wasteful practice saved me from having three busted calls ... all
dyslexiated by my poor typing. The other station corrected me all three times.
Preferable to having a TNX, QSL, NR, GM ( or combination thereof ) preamble to
the exchange. Also appreciated while I'm S&P.

If it's that much of a time-waster ( since we get answers to every CQ we make),
maybe we shouldn't send the call of the station who called us either :-)~

<When I was running on on 40 or 80 and others sent back my call, I felt it was
just wasting my time
- to quote KH6IJ: "I already know my call." In log checking, odds are if he
blows my call he gets the busted call penalty, not me.>
