I still find it interesting that on WEEKDAYS, I found so many RBN spots
of EXACTLY THE SAME CALL, at EXACTLY THE SAME TIME (to the SECOND), on
either another frequency on the same band, or on another band
altogether, than where other skimmers were spotting that call.
Maybe the bands are full of dualing-CQs & key clicks & whatever.
Admittedly, other than for a couple of weeks & three contests I haven't
been on the air in YEARS, so maybe things have changed & transmitting on
two frequencies on the same band, or on two different bands -
SIMULTANEOUSLY - is the norm OUTSIDE contests now.
Dilute with all the traffic on a contest weekend & bingo - problem
gone! ;^)
PEOPLE I doubt would spot so many OBVIOUSLY busted calls like all those
EKs, nor consistent, predictable busted frequencies - even if they had
to enter them all manually. To me, this really stands out. Sometimes
they might not think about what they are doing, but people have the
capability - skimmers don't & it shows.
