His logging program was definitely doing a call sign lookup.

I don't use "Ronald" on the air. So whenever someone calls me that, I know
that they've done a FCC ULS lookup of some sort.

I appreciate the thought that goes into it, though, and it definitely does
add the "Personal Touch".  It would be easy enough not to bother!
