For reference, RBN spots are available by Telnet at the following locations:

telnet.reversebeacon.net, port 7000
arcluster.reversebeacon.net, port 7000
relay2.reversebeacon.net, port 7000

The names are an anachronism, but have been kept to avoid messing up users' listings. All three nodes runstripped down relay servers specifically designed for maximum throughput. Our intent is that "retail" DX clusters should connect via Telnet to these 3 nodes, and that end-users should connect to the "retail" nodes.

The RBN is now beta testing new RTTY Skimmer software by VE3NEA. Only a few test nodes are now using the software, but stay tuned for news about greater availability, coming soon. You'll see a lot of RTTY spots this weekend during the Makrothen RTTY contest.
