Thing is the station has already invested the time. running away after using up his time is far worse than wasting a small amount more and at least give him the points.

This brings up a question I've had for years.....

When I call a running station and they have a hard time copying me and keep
asking for my call, maybe 3 or 4 times, I feel like a lid for breaking their
run.

At what point should I just spin the dial and move on to keep the run
station from wasting any more time trying to dig me out of the noise/qrm?

OK, back in my hole,
